What are we here to do?
-
Help survivors rebuild in Larimer County.
-
Support the recovery of communities affected by disasters in Larimer County.
How do we do it?
Provide direct grants to survivors wanting to rebuild their homes in Larimer County.
Facilitate education around better building practices as well as disaster specific rebuilding techniques such as Firewise.
Network with building professionals, local businesses and other nonprofits to maximize effort.
Leverage local skill and talent.
Provide a conduit for volunteers to help in the rebuilding efforts.
Who are we?
The NoCo Rebuilding Network was formed in the spring of 2011 and is volunteers from your local community. We are firefighters, builders, architects, residents, and local businesses. We believe we can come together as a community and take care of our own.
We are not here to:
Replace or overshadow the response by other organizations offering relief. Rather we link to and partner with other local organizations that have more specific purposes and will be more effective in many instances.
Force people to build “our” way. We offer choices and education. When people make a decision it should be based on the best information available.
