ReTreet plants big trees in the High Park Fire Area
What does Lancaster, Bastrop, Joplin, and the High Park Fire Area have in common? Many things, but this week it is trees and tree planting. A national non-profit ReTREEt has put together a large network of professional arborists and has decided to help out the survivors of the High Park Fire Area. They bring skills, talent, labor and big trees. Just wanted to share a short update from one of the houses that is under construction in the canyon. “On Friday we had Steve and Mike from Brewster Timber Frame up at Larry and Barbara’s place on Whale Rock. Had another excellent day and we got about 75% of the exterior closed in. We should now be able to get the rest closed in by Monday.
